Discovery Challenges forge connections between Liberty Science Center’s exhibitions and classroom studies to help students get the most from a Science Center visit. Each Discovery Challenge encourages inquiry and critical thinking. They are aligned with National, New Jersey and New York Core Curriculum Content Standards.

Before your visit, use pre-visit lessons to get students primed and excited about what they will discover here. While at the Center, use Discovery Challenges to help structure student exploration. Upon returning to school, teachers can complete the post-visit wrap-up with students to reinforce what they learned at Liberty Science Center. Career Quest extensions can be used to introduce students to career options related to their favorite exhibitions.
