Teacher Connection brings teachers, scientists, researchers, and experts in various scientific fields together to enhance teacher’s science backgrounds, develop techniques and activities to enrich student’s classroom science experiences and build resources for use in the classroom. While gaining additional hours of professional development for each program attended, teachers also gain knowledge of the recent developments in science education.

For the fourth consecutive year, Teacher Connection will be presenting the lecture series,” Cutting Edge Science.” In this series, scientists and researchers acquaint teachers with the latest technology and laboratory findings so teachers can help students bridge the gap between today’s and tomorrow’s worlds.

Events are 9:00 am – noon and, except where noted, are held at Liberty Science Center. Membership in Teacher Connection is $149.00 per year or pay $75.00 per event. Participants receive 3 hours of professional development credit per day.
