Liberty Science Center is a magnet for passionate people who love science AND people! Our community provides a proud heritage and a warm working environment to flourish in.  Liberty Science Center appeals to volunteers who yearn for knowledge and discovery.  The center attracts people who care about their world and who share similar values.  Camaraderie leads to friendships that can last a lifetime.  Staff and volunteers work side-by-side having fun with guests as they learn science.  Volunteers are appreciated for the integral roles they have in everything we accomplish.  Once you start donating your precious time to Liberty Science Center, it will become a favorite destination where you get back as much as you give.  It is a place where dreams can come true and you can find a sense of purpose.  The more time you spend at Liberty Science center, the more it will touch your heart and become your home-away-from-home.

Whether they’re bringing science to life in our exhibition halls or welcoming students and chaperones for school visits, volunteers and interns are an essential part of the team at Liberty Science Center. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, and you don’t need a science background. The only requirements are curiosity, enthusiasm and a dedication to learn – and share what you’ve learned with others!

Once we receive your application you will receive an e-mail within 10 business days to arrange your volunteer interview. If accepted, you will need to attend a one day training session before beginning your volunteer services.

PLEASE NOTE! We currently do not have any morning volunteer positions available on Saturday and Sundays. If you are interested in volunteering your time on the weekends, our current available time slots are from 1-5 on Saturdays and 12-4 or 1-5 on Sundays.
