Performance Groups

Liberty Science Center is a premier performance venue with a variety of open areas and theaters. Audition tapes are required and out of respect to our diverse audience, we hope you’ll understand that religious pieces are not permitted. Your performers will enjoy stunning views of Manhattan and appreciative listeners plus a fabulous educational experience they’ll remember for years to come. We supply the chairs, you bring everything else.  Audiovisual department support is available for a small fee.

Student and Youth Travel Groups

What do students want? Amazing, fun, high energy experiences! Your students will learn a lot about the science in their lives while sitting through a 50 MPH hurricane in a glass box, complete with wind and rain, seeing live animals and amazing bugs, walking a steel girder 18 feet in the air, crawling through our pitch-black Touch Tunnel maze and so much more.

Summer Camps

Kids just wanna have fun and Liberty Science Center offers plenty of that plus engaging hands-on science learning guaranteed to please even the pickiest parents. Ask about our Rainy Day Rescue policy that allows you to book your group as early as 6:00 am on any day your outdoor plans are rained out or forced indoors from excessive heat. Call 201.253.1511.

Scouts

Scouting brings out the best in our young people and Liberty Science Center is here to help Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts achieve their goals with overnight and daytime adventures; activities to earn or work toward badge, patch, pin and belt loop requirements, and more.

Senior Groups

Seniors appreciate our easy-to-navigate building, interesting exhibitions, and fabulous films shown in the nation’s largest IMAX Dome Theater. Ask about reserving on low-volume visitation days, purchasing thrifty boxed lunches, wheelchair use and more.

Special Needs Groups

Everyone loves a visit to Liberty Science Center! Participants can see live animals and huge fish, try hands-on activities, enjoy a Live Science program, and more. For an extra fee, you can even request classroom activities geared towards your group such as a workshop or Residency (link to 4.2.1.4.1).
