Mr. Khost is passionate about how people learn, communicate, and make decisions. This has driven his career and personal endeavors for the last 25 years. In his current role, he is responsible for helping private bankers engage effectively with new and existing clients. Khost is responsible for setting benchmarks and ensuring that these bankers achieve them across a variety of metrics while meeting high standards for customer care. He has a deep and broad expertise in the private client sector and has been asked to lead efforts focused on philanthropy, business owners, family offices, and ESG/Impact investing. Prior to joining US Trust, Khost was a founding partner of the alternative investment firm Central Park Group, LLC. Khost began his career in the private client group at Lehman Brothers.

His interest in communication and education has shaped his personal activities as well. Khost is a member of the board of trustees for the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, chair of the business cabinet for the Rutgers Business School Institute of Ethical Leadership, and member of the board of advisors for The Family Firm Institute.

He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has earned the Certified Investment Management Consultant designation.
