And our #HumpbackHysteria winner is . . .

LSC News

Congratulations to the Orlovsky family for being our #humpbackhysteria video contest winners! They spoke the best whale we’ve heard in a long while (and possibly the best wolf, as well).

Humpback Whales are fascinating creatures and if you come and see our new IMAX movie, Humpback Whales, there’s so much you can learn. For example, humpback whales can eat up to a ton of food a day. They also migrate North to eat and South to breed. Ship strikes, entanglement in fishing gear, and pollution are all threats to Humpback Whales. There is still a lot of work to be done to help Humpback Whales, but things are getting better. The number of Humpback Whales in Tonga has gone up from 50 to 2,000, and that’s very promising! Visit the World Wildlife Fund to learn more about Humpback Whales, and thank you everyone who entered our #HumpbackHysteria video contest!
