Liberty Science Center just broke a record! (Not a Guinness World Record, sorry, but still worth celebrating!)
On Monday, August 21, a total of 352 LSC visitors joined hands out on the lawn and created a circuit. This is more than double our previous in-house record, 157 people.
Within that group of people was one Energy Stick. LSC's Summer Teen Docent volunteers helped round up the 300+ people, stand in a giant circle, and hold hands in a loop to light up the LEDs inside the Energy Stick.
Check it out:
The Energy Stick uses the basic principle of circuitry to function. A circuit is a complete loop of wires used to power a component, such as a light bulb, but with the Energy Stick you need people to serve as those wires. And 352 people certainly got the job done!
Way to go, team!
