Proof of Vaccination Required for Visitors 12 and Older

LSC News

Please be advised that beginning September 8, 2021, Liberty Science Center will require proof of COVID-19 vaccination for all visitors age 12 years and older. We will also require a valid photo ID for all visitors age 18 years and older.

As a science institution, we are committed to following public health guidance that strongly indicates vaccinations are the most effective way to protect ourselves and our community—especially those too young to be vaccinated—from the rampant spread of the coronavirus that causes COVID-19. The Science Center will continue to require guests and staff to properly wear a face mask while on site, as well.

We will accept the following approved vaccination records:

  • An original CDC vaccination card
  • Personal digital COVID-19 vaccination record issued by New Jersey or your home state (download the Docket app, which accesses your vaccination record, from Google Play or the App Store)
  • An official immunization record from outside the US
  • Photo of your COVID-19 vaccination record that matches your ID

Please note: Each proof of vaccination will be matched to each visitor’s photo ID. Self-written or verbal declaration of vaccination status will not be accepted.

Need a vaccine? To find a COVID-19 vaccination site near you, go to vaccines.gov and enter your zip code.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation, and for your support of Liberty Science Center’s efforts to protect our community against COVID-19. Questions? Please review the COVID-19 information page on our site for more details.
