July is National Ice Cream Month and there is no better way to celebrate than to make ice cream – except that we make ours with super cold liquid nitrogen! Watch as we make some strange flavors of ice cream, then take a taste and decide which you like best.

Challenge yourself during a “Face Your Fears” program, soar with amazing rubber-band powered gliders, make strange ice cream flavors, enjoy bug and animal demonstrations and search for real marine fossils of extinct creatures – including sharks – that you can take home.

You can even learn about the honeybee crisis and how to help them. Is there something you’ve always wanted to know about insects? Ask an entomologist from Terminix or a Science Center staff member and receive a free giveaway, while supplies last.
