JERSEY CITY, N.J., November 18, 2019 – Laser Tag! Slime! A massive ball pit! Liberty Science Center’s newest and most exciting adventures are only available during the brand-new event series Extreme LSC. It’s Friday night action like never before, and it launches Friday, November 22, continuing every fourth Friday of the month from 6 to 10 pm.

At Extreme LSC, kids can challenge themselves and each other in LSC’s new laser tag arena, get messy with scientific slime experiments they’ll take home, and search for hidden objects and science facts in a giant ball pit. Special programming in the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium—the largest in the Western Hemisphere—will have kids soaring through space and rocking out to laser shows set to their favorite songs. Outside, high-powered telescopes and space experts will be on hand for guests to peek at the wonders the real night sky has to offer.

Guests attending Extreme LSC can explore the Science Center’s permanent exhibitions where they’ll climb 30 feet above the floor in the Infinity Climber, navigate the pitch-black Touch Tunnel, and come face-to-face with the animals of Eat and Be Eaten. The latest premium exhibition, Angry Birds Universe: The Art & Science Behind a Global Phenomenon, will immerse guests in a real-life version of the ever popular video game.

LSC’s café will be open, serving food and special treats throughout the evening. Accompanying adults ages 21 and over can enjoy a menu of beer and wine.

Admission to Extreme LSC is running with a limited time online discount: $15 for kids, and $20 for adults. After the discount ends, all tickets will rise $5. To learn more, please visit LSC.org/extreme.
