Sarah V. Ali is responsible for leading Lord Abbett’s Investment Technology, Operations, Program Management, Investment Risk, Quantitative Research and Client Account Management teams. She also ensures execution of Lord Abbett’s strategic initiatives and provides broad management and strategic oversight of the firm’s investment, research, and trading teams. In addition, she co-chairs the firm’s Operating Committee and serves on the Investment, Management, and Standards & Practices Committees.

Ms. Ali joined Lord Abbett in 2019 and was named Partner in 2024. Prior to her current role, she served as Research Analyst for Lord Abbett’s Municipal Bond Research team, which supports all the tax free fixed-income capabilities. Her previous experience includes serving as Vice President - Municipal Credit Analyst (Healthcare) at PIMCO; Director, Municipal Credit Analyst at Metlife Investments; and various roles at Moody’s Investors Service. She has worked in the financial services industry since 2005.

She earned a BA in political science from the University of Notre Dame and an MPA from New York University.
