LSC After Dark
A great party, delicious bites and drinks, and a twist of science! Liberty Science Center presents LSC After Dark, exclusively for guests 21+ on special Thursday nights from 6:00 - 10:00 pm. Each event features a fun theme with a menu to match, dance floor, live DJ, a full bar, and planetarium and laser shows. And all of the museum's exhibits are open, too!

Under the Sea

Dive into a night of music and ocean vibes at #LSCAfterDark: Under the Sea on April 30th. Step into a little hideaway beneath the waves in Our Hudson Home, where you can meet the aquatic life living in our very own backyard in the Touch Tank. Then, follow the Yellow Submarine into the largest planetarium in the Western Hemisphere for a live performance by NJ's self proclaimed best Beatles cover band Hey Bulldog. Whether you’re ready to twist and shout, come together, or just let it be, this underwater party is sure to make a splash.

Strangers Stopping Strangers Live Music Performance
May 14, 2026 and May 15, 2026
Strangers Stopping Strangers are back for a very special TWO NIGHT RUN. We'll exclusively open the biggest planetarium in the Western Hemisphere to bring you LIVE music of The Grateful Dead. Two sets per night, two completely unique shows.
Enjoy bars, food, vendors and a good ol fashioined Shakedown Street. Doors at 6pm, shows at 7pm.

New Jersey's self proclaimed BEST Beatles cover band is coming to the east coast dome for some good old fashioned no fuss rock and roll! Get ready to rock out to the best of The Beatles in the nation's largest planetarium during LSC After Dark: Under the Sea.

Each Space Talk kicks off an LSC After Dark accompanied by a telescope viewing area, a craft cocktail specially curated to complement the evening's topic, and a Q&A session with the night's guest speaker.
