Holiday Adventure

From Dec. 26 - Jan. 1, LSC opens at 9:00 am daily to bring you hours of wild holiday fun. Daily live animal shows are included with admission. We welcome a live penguin from Jenkinson’s Aquarium (Dec. 26 - 28); and a bouncy kangaroo, a playful ring-tailed lemur, a hedgehog, and more animal friends from Two By Two Animal Haven (Dec. 26 - 31). We’ll also introduce you to many of the creatures who live at LSC year round!

Climb aboard the Gingerbread Express mini train to tour our sweet winter wonderland. It’s FREE through Jan. 4! Learn the science of snow, ice, and water in the Winter Wonder Lab and take home a sparkling snowflake craft. Glide around the expanded and improved Sock Skating Rink. Enjoy holiday-themed shows in America’s biggest planetarium, seasonal labs and science demonstrations, a festive holiday Dance Party, and tasty Peppermint Ice Cream made the scientific way—with liquid nitrogen. There are photo ops galore, beautiful wintry decor on every floor, and the vibes are warm and welcoming.

Of course our Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood exhibition, SUE: The T. rex Experience premium exhibition, and all of your favorite LSC experiences will also be open every day.
