Jeanette Calandra

Global Technology, Media & Telco Advisory Leader, PwC

Jeanette Calandra is a 30-year PwC veteran and currently leads their Global Advisory Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) practice. In this role, she is responsible for strategy execution, growth and innovation across a network of international firm territories. Prior to returning to the east coast in 2021, Calandra spent 15 years in Silicon Valley where she served as the Office Managing Partner of PwC’s San Jose office responsible for over 3,500 partners and staff in the audit, tax and consulting businesses while working on the forefront of innovation & technology with her clients. Through her coast-to-coast roles at the firm and delivery of cross-functional solutions, Calandra has extensive experience leading and managing the firm’s work with a range of global Fortune 500 clients as well as working with some of the most fast-paced disrupters and technology start-ups. She provides strategic and hands-on advice at the Board and C Suite level, and across various functional areas to transform and scale their businesses and manage through the new frontier of disruption.

Calandra serves in various nonprofit board, leadership, and volunteer roles in the community. Since 2017, Calandra has served on the board of directors of Project Glimmer, a nonprofit, which inspires at-risk teenage girls and women across all 50 states to believe in themselves by letting them know their community cares, along with empowering them to build new career skills. Prior to joining the board of LSC, Calandra served for four years as a member of the board of directors of the Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose, a community institution inspiring creativity, curiosity, and lifelong learning.

Calandra is a frequent speaker at industry events around the world where she leverages her in-depth knowledge of TMT to bring focus on diversity, inclusion, gender pay gap, and mentorship—moderating panels and speaking at conferences including Cannes Lions, World Economic Forum in Davos, and the Consumer Electronics Show.

Calandra received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New York and California.
