Laura Overdeck is the founder of the nonprofit Bedtime Math and author of four best-selling Bedtime Math books (Macmillan). She is the producer of the 2025 film Rule Breakers, which tells the true story of the Afghan women's robotics team. As a founding board member of the NJ Pandemic Relief Fund, she also helped launch the New Jersey Tutoring Corps, which continues to grow today.
Ms. Overdeck is an alumna and former trustee of Princeton University, where she earned a BA in astrophysics. She also holds an MBA from the Wharton School and an honorary doctorate from Stevens Institute of Technology. In addition to Liberty Science Center, she serves on the boards of Khan Academy and the Pingry School, and the advisory councils for Princeton’s Department of Astrophysical Sciences and New Jersey Governor’s School.
