Ning Yuan began his career with CSCEC, ranked #14 in 2024 Fortune Global 500, in 1988. In 2001, he became a leader of CSCEC’ s subsidiary in the Americas. With 35 years of experience in international business, specializing in construction and real estate, Mr. Yuan now serves as Honorary Chairman of CSCEC Holding Company, Inc., the only direct subsidiary of CSCEC in the U.S.

Leveraging his entrepreneurial acumen and relentless pursuit of excellence, Mr. Yuan successfully transformed the company from a small team of just 12 employees in 2001 to a highly competitive and well-recognized player in the U.S. construction and real estate market. Under his leadership, the company has completed more than 1,000 projects, many of which have garnered prestigious awards such as the Tien-yow Jeme Civil Engineering Award, Lu Ban Award, ENR Global Best Project Award, Construction Achievement Project of the Year Award by ASCE, Project of the Year by NYS Society of Professional Engineers, and Top 10 Bridges Award by Roads & Bridges Magazine.

In 2014, Mr. Yuan led and completed the acquisition of Plaza Construction, enhancing the company's building division and strengthening its competitive position in the United States. As a visionary leader, Mr. Yuan also successfully expanded the company’s business into the Caribbean and Latin America markets, and established Strategic Capital, a real estate investment and development platform, to support the company’s expansion in the Americas.

In addition to his business achievements, Mr. Yuan is a dedicated educator. Committed to supporting initiatives that promote quality education for youth, he regularly mentors young talented individuals at Harvard Business School, the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, and other prestigious institutions.

Mr. Yuan is also passionate about giving back to the community and has been actively involved in various charitable initiatives. Aside from being a keen contributor to local NPOs, he initiated the annual CCA/Plaza Construction Charity Golf Invitational, which has raised approx. $900,000 dollars for Boys and Girls Clubs of Hudson County and Liberty Science Center within just four years.

In 2011, Mr. Yuan assumed the role of Chairman of China General Chamber of Commerce-U.S.A. During his tenure, he demonstrated a strong commitment to fostering business exchanges between China and the United States, significantly impacting economic and business cooperation between the two countries. His contributions led to his reelection in 2014.

Mr. Yuan received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Zhejiang University in China and master’s degree in civil engineering from Leibniz Universität Hannover in Germany.
