Meet fascinating creatures that use their natural adaptations to survive in the wild

Cotton-top tamarin monkeys. Naked mole rats. Red-footed tortoises. A rose hair tarantula! Liberty Science Center is home to 100+ fascinating animal species. Come meet many of them in our Eat and Be Eaten exhibition.

As you visit LSC’s animal residents, discover the amazing ways these species adapt to survive in the wild. Some hide in plain sight while others turn themselves into toxic treats. Many of these creatures have unique behaviors that keep them from being captured or help them to escape.
