Explore poison's roles in nature, history, myth, health, and forensic science through immersive scenes, live shows, and interactive features in this massive premium exhibition.

Whether as a defense against predators, a magical source of immortality, a lethal weapon, or a lifesaving medical treatment, the story of poison is full of surprising turns.

This premium exhibition explores the many facets of poison—its roles in nature, history, myth, health, and forensic science—and shows the immense power of transformation that can be contained in a tiny drop.

Lifelike models and interactive exhibits illustrate how poisons show up in the natural world. The exhibition will also feature unique live presentations by the Science Center’s on-staff experts, with some featuring the toxic stars of LSC’s animal collections.

If the timing works, don't miss the Poison vs. Venom show inside the exhibition gallery, 12:00 pm and 2:30 pm daily.

This premium exhibition is available with an additional ticket when you purchase general admission or an LSC membership.

The Power of Poison is organized by the American Museum of Natural History, New York (amnh.org)
