On Wednesday, October 8, Liberty Science Center is once again opening its doors for its fourth Community Evening of 2025– an event offering students and families from qualifying school districts admission to LSC at no cost. This fall, LSC welcomes three NASA ambassadors to host presentations exploring the science and beauty of Auroras.
Join Adrea John, Courtney Martin, and Amehja Williams to uncover how energy from the Sun travels millions of miles to the Earth and creates the most beautiful light show that nature has to offer, painting the sky in shimmering shades of red, green, and pink. Learn about heliophysics, different types of aurora, and how YOU can contribute to NASA’s understanding of the Aurora Borealis! All About Auroras will even include hands-on demonstrations of magnetic fields to further deepen your understanding of this phenomenon.
