Behind-The-Scenes at the Liberty Cup Drone Race

Drones are taking over the world – they’re being used to transport medicine, find missing people, provide Internet to remote areas of the world and even deliver 7-Eleven slurpees to thirsty customers.

And this weekend, they will be taking over Liberty Science Center. On July 30 and 31, LSC will hold its first Liberty Cup drone race. The best drone pilots in the Northeast will be here showing off their flying skills, buzzing through gates and zooming past spectators as they compete for the top spot.

The team at LSC has been hard at work preparing for the race. Here’s a sneak peek!
