Back in 2007, one of our staff members hid a Star Wars reference somewhere in the building.

Being a staff member at a Science Center, the reference wasn’t something normal like an image or a name. It was fun, interactive, and totally Liberty Science Center. It was also completely accessible to our guests! Hidden right in one of our exhibits!

Millions of people have come through the Science Center since ‘07. None of them knew this Star Wars reference existed. Most of the staff had no idea either. Today most still don’t know.

That’s about to change. At the LSC After Dark: Space Cantina party on December 15, we’re revealing the ‘Easter Egg’ publicly. You’re going to have to find it, though, via a Jedi Quest! The night of the party, follow these clues, some of which have Star Wars references of their own:

• On level three
• Beyond the darkness
• The exhibit where C-3P0 would be most at home
• Locate the staff Jedi named Old Ben
• Say to them: “Han shot first”

Once you have spoken these words, one of our Jedis at the Science Center will use The Force and reveal to you the hidden Star Wars reference. Once you have discovered it, we entrust you to keep its secret safe.
