Creepy! LSC's new Halloween activity turns you into a ghost

LSC News

Break out the camera for one of our newest Halloween adventures this season, the Pepper’s Ghost Illusion Chamber!

This creepy new activity at LSC is inspired by the famous Pepper’s ghost technique, which is often used in haunted houses to create the illusion of ghosts disappearing and reappearing. It’s all a trick of reflection and light intensity!

At the Pepper’s Ghost Illusion Chamber at LSC, guests will sit in a chair and use a remote to control the intensity of light in the room. Via a glass positioned at a 45-degree angle, the person sitting in the chair will appear to vanish and reappear as if they were a ghost.

Be sure to capture this on your phone and freak out your friends! Share it on social media using the hashtag #LibertyScienceCenter.

The Pepper’s Ghost Illusion Chamber will be open on Oct. 20, 21, 27, and 28. Click here to see our full list of Halloween adventures this year.
