Day of Drones was a tremendous success!

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate all things drone. Check out the full video recap above, and all of our photos from the day on Facebook. Here are some highlights!

Drone racers use virtual reality goggles to get a first-person view while racing their drone. These goggles were awesome.

Organizers set up a series of checkpoints for the drones to fly through. The course also incorporated a flyby of our weather station and wind turbine.

Randy’s custom LED battle drone was too cool:

This drone is designed specifically for capturing epic footage on film shoots.

Day of Drones was a ton of fun and you can bet we’ll have more drones at Liberty Science Center soon!
