Beyond Rubik's Cube

This Saturday, Dec. 8 is the Rubik's Cube Speed Cubing Competition at Liberty Science Center! Be there as talented speed cubers from around the state compete to solve the Rubik's Cube puzzle as fast as they can.

Competitions include 3x3 cubes, 4x4 cubes, one-handed solving, and even blindfolded speed cubing.

The competition lasts all day. It's included in your general admission ticket, so join us and watch as these cubers solve the puzzle at incredible speeds!

And if you want to take a look at how amazing these cubers are, check out this video from last year when Dana Yi – a competitor from Cherry Hill who's ranked as one of the fastest in the world – solved the puzzle in 8.38 seconds:

Liberty Science Center is creator of Beyond Rubik's Cube, the world's first museum exhibition all about the Rubik's Cube puzzle. It boasts 7,000 sq ft of games, puzzles, history, art, and engineering, all inspired by Ernő Rubik's best-selling masterpiece. Click here to learn more.
