Saturday, May 6 was Aviation Day at Liberty Science Center!

In celebration of New Jersey General Aviation Appreciation Month, the building was filled with activities all about the science of aviation.

Guests stepped inside the basket of an 85-ft hot air balloon and felt the hot air, went flying with drones and immersive flight simulators, met pilots and representatives from amazing local organizations, and more!

Some of the groups that joined us were Civil Air Patrol, the Ninety-Nines International Organization of Women Pilots, Mid-Atlantic Pilots Association and NJ Aviation Hall of Fame, Eagle Flight Squadron, and Innovators Inc.
