Liberty Science Center travels back to the ‘70s for LSC After Dark: Boogie Fever
On Jan. 19, 2023, Liberty Science Center took it back to the days of disco at LSC After Dark: Boogie Fever, our latest 21+ event!
Guests filled the building dressed in their best ‘70s attire for a night of music, dancing, food, drinks, and more!
Just a few of the highlights included:
- A Disco Drag Show with local performers Kimmy Sumony, Crystal Envy, and Stefani Steel
- Disco glam makeovers with our friends from the School of Makeup Effects
- A roller skating rink, as well as our popular Sock Skating Rink
- A new planetarium show, The Golden Age of Space Robots, exploring the missions of the ‘70s, from Mariner 9 to Voyager and beyond
- Two laser shows – Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon and Led Zeppelin
- Themed food and cocktails, including Disco Fries, Disco Tots, and the “Taste of the 70s Meal” (featuring a meatloaf burger, mac and cheese, peas and carrots, and apple crisp)
- A Martini Bar and Tres Agaves Margarita Bar
