April 21, 2022 was spring break at Liberty Science Center!
That night, we held our latest LSC After Dark event for guests 21 and over, with cocktails, bites, new exhibitions, springtime fun, and so much more.
Check out some of our favorite highlights below from LSC After Dark: Spring Break.
We opened our spring pop-up exhibit, the Butterfly House, home to 1,000 monarchs and painted ladies. Guests fed the butterflies, let them sit on their fingers and shoulders, and made some fluttery new friends.
This month was the LSC After Dark grand opening of Dino Dig Adventure! Guests dug for fossils buried in more than 60 tons of sand set against the gorgeous NYC skyline.
It’s like Jurassic Park, but real!
Who needs Coachella when you’ve got LSC After Dark? Guests made their own flower crowns and showed them off throughout the night!
Guests made their way through delicious snacks from the vendors at Midnight Market’s Food Hall.
Over in the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium – the biggest planetarium in America – guests learned how to spot the Lyrid meteor shower at the “Spring Skies Planetarium Show,” then rocked out to pop hits set to high-tech lasers in the “Spring Pop Laser Show.”
Would you rather have tequila in Cancun, rum in Jamaica, or vodka in Miami? How about all three?!
At LSC After Dark: Spring Break, guests enjoyed this month’s smoking cocktails, plus beer, wine, soft drinks, White Claw, and twisted tea.
You don’t need to be a kid to ride a giant slide! Guests took trips down our massive, 20 ft. tall inflatable slide, and – as you might have guessed – it was amazing.
We were joined again by the School of Makeup Effects, who gave out butterfly makeovers throughout the night!
Because hey, why not?
