Congratulations to Liberty Science Center’s President and CEO Paul Hoffman, who was just selected to the 2024 NJBIZ Power 100 List!

From the article:

“Hoffman is the president and CEO of Liberty Science Center, which is more than just a fun place to visit. Under Hoffman, the center is developing SciTech Scity — a ‘Science City of Tomorrow’ that will feature a 30-acre campus devoted to using science and technology to address serious health care issues. When completed, the complex will boast $450 million of new construction that includes Edge Works – an eight-story business creation center with laboratories, R&D spaces and more; Scholars Village – 500 apartments for innovators, scientists, entrepreneurs, and other tech-forward individuals and families; Liberty Science Center High School – a new public magnet STEM high school; and Public Commons – 3 acres of outdoor space for art installations, food trucks, performances, famers markets, festivals, fairs and more. With the first phase expected to open in 2025 and 2026, the campus will include the existing Liberty Science Center and officially be named the Frank J. Guarini Innovation Campus. Last October, LSC announced a new and expansive collaboration with EY US, which will assume the role of lead orchestrator of unique interdisciplinary Healthcare Innovation Engine at SciTech Scity. In this role, EY US will engage with stakeholder to find a more proactive, effective – and less expensive – approach to address the underlying causes of illnesses, to catch them early on, manage them more effectively and prevent them before they even arise. ‘We feel a strong shared responsibility to our community,’ Hoffman said in October. ‘Everyone will benefit from the transformation of our current SICKcare system to a true HEALTHcare system that detects illnesses in their infancy, or prevents illnesses entirely, through cost-effective digital home health technology. But underserved neighborhoods that lack access to specialized medical care will benefit the most from health care that meets people where they live.’”

Congrats again, Paul!
