We want to give a huge thanks to everyone who joined us last weekend for LSC’s annual ChemExpo!

At this event, hosted by the North Jersey Section of the American Chemical Society, we welcomed college and high school chemistry students and chemists for a fun day of hands-on activities.

This year, guests enjoyed activities centered on the healing power of chemistry. Visitors worked with clotting chemicals to learn how our own blood clots, explored how sunscreen protects our skin, made homemade hand sanitizer, slime, and putty, and more.
