National volunteer week

LSC News

National Volunteer Week is a time to celebrate people doing extraordinary things through service.

Liberty Science Center is fortunate to have a strong core of volunteers who use their time and talents to help further our mission of exposing learners of all ages to the excitement of science and technology.

Their energy and enthusiasm can be felt at all levels of the organization. They are the friendly faces that greet you in the halls, the science enthusiasts facilitating hands-on activities, accomplished professionals providing senior leadership on our Board of Trustees, and the talented fundraisers behind our Annual Gala.

In the last year alone, over 400 volunteers donated over 35,000 hours to the Center. Their passion inspires both LSC guests and staff every day. Read more about the important role of volunteers at LSC online or contact our Volunteer Development Team at 201.253.1297 or volunteer@lsc.org.
