You’re welcome to nurse anywhere you’d like here at Liberty Science Center, but for moms who like a little privacy we did have a nursing room. The old “Nursing Room” was, shall we say, uninspired. There was a lot of room for improvement. A lot of room.

Thankfully, we have some great designers on staff and they took this project and ran with it. We’re very excited to introduce our new Nursing Room!

We removed the toilet and replaced it with this great table and a cute fox.

We also picked up a fresh chair and installed one of those wall games so that your other kids have something to keep them busy while you nurse.

The changing table stayed, but now you have some woodland creature friends to help you with those diapers. We also added a lush, soft carpet to the floor so that everyone has something comfortable to sit on if necessary.

New signage also ensures that you can’t miss this new Nursing Room.

The sink, mirror, soap and towel dispenser all remain. We’re very proud to finally have a proper Nursing Room for parents and children to enjoy. Moms deserve the best Nursing Room experience we can provide, and we’ll never stop trying to make that experience better.
