Our Summer 2015 Space Party Launch was a great success! Many thanks to all of the guests and volunteers who helped TapeScape artist Eric Lennartson wrap 95,000 feet of packing tape around the simple steel structures to create Tape Gemini, a replica of the original 1960s space craft, and Tape Space, a massive Steven Hawking-esque wormhole-like climbing structure for both kids and adults.

The immersive TapeScape exhibits highlight the beautiful intersection of science and art. It is our hope that they will remind visitors of the major milestones in the U.S. space program while inspiring the next generation of explorers to continue the quest.
