The 5th Annual Cockroach Count
It’s time to count some cockroaches! LSC’s 5th Annual Cockroach Count is taking place Thursday, March 14 from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.
LSC’s Madagascar hissing cockroaches have two antennae, three body segments, and six legs. But exactly how many of them do we have? Every year, our animal team answers that question by taking the time to count every cockroach.
During your visit, you’re invited to watch, talk to our staff about these fascinating crawlers, and make your guess what the total number will be. Whoever guesses closest to the actual number will win a prize!
We will stop taking guesses at noon, so make sure you get your answers in early.
