The final myth! Our MythBusters exhibition closes September 4

LSC News

We've had a blast all year busting myths in our MythBusters exhibition, but now it's time to say goodbye. MythBusters: The Explosive Exhibition closes on September 4, so don't miss your last chance to bust myths with us.

Can you really huff, puff, and blow a house down? Does toast always land butter-side down? What keeps you drier, running in the rain or walking through it? Can you really pull a tablecloth off of a fully set table without disturbing a dish? In this amazing hands-on exhibition, you can put these myths to the test—just as the team from the popular MythBusters TV show has done for years!

MythBusters: The Explosive Exhibition includes live demonstrations, visitor participation, and spectacular sets and experiences from the TV show. On display in our largest gallery, the exhibit overflows with hands-on props and gadgets from the show.

Throughout the summer, our STEM team has also taken guest-submitted myths and tested them on camera. Thanks to everyone who submitted their myths to us! Check them out:

Will Pop Rocks and soda really make your stomach explode?

Is it really possible to walk on eggshells?

Will molten metal always burn your skin?
