Be a Volunteer

Share your passion for STEM as a Liberty Science Center Volunteer! Volunteers interact directly with LSC’s guests, helping them get the most out of every visit. Our volunteers receive training and experience in customer service—and they have a lot of fun! Join us, and be a part of LSC’s mission to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers.

Volunteer Requirements

• Volunteers must be a minimum of 16 years old.
• Volunteers must be friendly and excited to work with visitors of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
• Volunteers must be dependable, communicative, and engaging.
• Youth volunteers must commit to at least one full day of volunteering every week for a minimum of 6 months.
• Adult volunteers must commit to at least 4 hours every week for a minimum of 6 months.
• After the initial requirement, volunteers must commit to a minimum of 150 hours of volunteering per year to remain active and eligible for volunteer benefits.
