Jump into your favorite storybook in Storyland: A Trip Through Childhood Favorites! Time is running out – the exhibition closes Jan. 3, 2021!
This adventure for kids celebrates the joy of reading by bringing seven beloved children's books to life. Play games, solve puzzles, use your imagination, and travel through the following books: The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter; The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats; Where’s Spot? by Eric Hill; If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Numeroff; Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin Jr. and John Archambault; Abuela by Arthur Dorros; and Tuesday by David Wiesner.
Storyland: A Trip Through Childhood Favorites is included in general admission.

Highlights
- Explore Peter Rabbit’s world while building vocabulary and narrative skills. Search for Peter’s lost belongings, harvest vegetables, and play in Peter’s burrow
- Travel through a wintry world, inspired by The Snowy Day, and navigate a neighborhood after a fresh snowfall
- Toddlers will explore sounds and images through busy wall interactives, in an exhibit inspired by Where’s Spot? Along the way, adults will learn how literacy development begins at birth
- Kids are encouraged to reflect on their Storyland experience by creating a drawing inspired by the books and writing a caption, title, or story
