Pup Cup - (June 6, 7; July 18, 19) Governors Hall, 2nd Floor

You’ve heard of the Puppy Bowl, now get ready for the Pup Cup! During the opening and closing weekends of the World Cup, you can cheer on teams of adorable puppies from The Seeing Eye, a local organization that trains future guide dogs for people who are blind or visually impaired.

Drone Soccer - PSE&G Court, 1st Floor

Take to the skies in this fast-paced, team-based science sport where participants pilot caged drones through the opposing team’s goal. Try it yourself or cheer on your team!

LSC Rat-thlete Matches - Wild About Animals, 3rd Floor

Liberty Science Center’s own Norway rats have been training for these daily one-on-one soccer matches in a miniature soccer arena! You won’t want to miss these surprisingly skillful showdowns.

Sock-er - Governors Hall, 2nd Floor

Kick off your shoes and test your penalty shots on our synthetic ice rink! Divide into teams and see who can rack up the most points in these competitions every hour.

Subsoccer - Governors Hall, 2nd Floor

This head-to-head matchup comes with a toe-to-toe twist. It's played entirely under a table. Sit across from your opponent and use only your feet to pass, defend, and score.

Gotham FC Pro Players

We’re joining forces with the all-women soccer pros from Gotham FC! Players from this 2025 championship team will make multiple appearances at LSC to meet fans, take photos, and lead mini clinics on essential game-day skills!
