Grab your friends and work together to solve a thrilling murder mystery! “Murder at the Museum,” our latest LSC After Dark event for guests 21 and over, is this Thursday, Nov. 15, 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Click here for tickets.

At this immersive adventure unlike any LSC After Dark before, you’ll brush up on your crime-solving skills and use your powers of observation to find a killer before he or she strikes again. Look for clues throughout LSC, meet some suspicious characters, and crack the case!

1) Amazing performances by the Murder Mystery Co.

At LSC After Dark: Murder at the Museum, you’ll be treated to an incredible, one-of-a-kind show put on by the talented performers from Murder Mystery Co.! These professional actors have crafted a twisty, funny, and unpredictable murder mystery written exclusively for this event. You don’t want to miss it!

2) Martini Bar and more delicious drinks

Our LSC After Dark events always have incredible drinks, and this month is no exception. Enjoy a refreshing beverage while you’re hot on the trail of the killer!

At the Tito’s Martini Bar, you can enjoy the Autopsy Apple Martini, Dying for a Dirty Martini, or the Pomegranate Martini.

Our cocktails also include the “Sweet Poison,” a mixture of rum, sweet coconut rum and tangy blue curacao, finished off with pineapple juice – which was chosen by LSC After Dark fans in a poll on our Facebook page!

Our drinks also include beer, wine, and a special “Red Death Cocktail.” We have something for everybody!

3) New Sherlock exhibition

Want to enhance your detective skills? Stop by LSC’s brand new premium exhibition, The International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes.

In this interactive adventure, you’ll be transported into Sherlock Holmes’ London – a world filled with innovation and experimentation in the field of forensic science. You’ll examine a crime scene learn how Sherlock, a scientific expert ahead of his time, used seemingly trivial observations of clues others missed to solve mysterious cases.

Follow the footprints, examine the spatter patterns, decipher Morse Code, and more!

The International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes is available for an additional $6.

JC Oddities Market returns this month with odd and offbeat gifts, art, and jewelry from local vendors. Bring something spooky home to your loved ones!

5) Delicious food from Midnight Market

Midnight Market also returns this month with local vendors serving deliciously deadly food plates, at only $5 per plate (cash only, please).

6) Metallica Laser Show

Nothing else matters...but the Metallica Laser Show! Catch our brand new laser show in the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium and LSC Giant Dome Theater, the biggest planetarium in the Western Hemisphere.

LSC is a nonprofit organization, and when you make an additional $5 donation to support our programs for 91,000 students from at-risk communities, we’ll thank you with a ticket to this exhilarating new show.

The Metallica Laser Show will play at 8:00 pm and 9:35 pm.

7) Mysterious new planetarium show

In addition to the Metallica Laser Show, you can experience our new planetarium show, Stellar Corpses and Cosmic Mysteries. Explore some of the strangest and most mysterious entities of our universe, from the Homunculus Nebula – a star in its last stages and about to explode into a supernova – and dark matter, which makes up most of the universe and yet scientists still don’t really know what it is.

Like the laser show, we will thank you with a ticket to Stellar Corpses and Cosmic Mysteries when you make an additional $5 donation to support our programs.

Stellar Corpses and Cosmic Mysteries will play at 6:30 pm and 9:05 pm.

8) Live reading and Q&A with author Daniel Braum

We’re so excited to be joined this month by supernatural crime author Daniel Braum! At 8:00 pm, he will do a reading from his book “The Night Marchers,” followed by a Q&A.

9) True crime experiments and activities

At the event, we’ll have multiple experiments and activities to help you understand how scientists play a role in true crime and solve some of the most puzzling mysteries!

Investigate blood spatters and recreate a crime scene at the Blood Spatter Lab. Learn how to identify a person’s identity by their skull at the Bone Lab. Explore how mealworms tell you how long a person has been deceased at the Entomology Lab.

10) Rock the dance floor!

Even a hard-working detective needs to let off some steam every once in a while! Head to the dance floor and rock out all night with DJ Menson.
