1) Eat some tasty insects

Have you ever eaten an insect before? It’s really not that gross – and millions of people across the world do it!

Head over to our Pride Lands Fair and show your friends how brave you are by trying an insect at the Bug Buffet. In the past, we’ve given out yummy crickets and grasshoppers. See what we have in store for you this month!

2) The return of Dino Dig

Our popular summer adventure, Dino Dig, is back for the season. In our outdoor dig site, you’ll channel your inner paleontologist by uncovering 60+ fossils, including T-rex bones and teeth, a 6-foot-long Triceratops skull, and even a dragonfly fossil.

3) Blue Moon beer tasting and specialty cocktail bar

This month, enjoy a beer tasting and specialty cocktail bar courtesy of Blue Moon! They’re joining us in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing, when humans stepped on the Moon for the first time.

4) Lion King-inspired drinks

We’re also serving Lion King-inspired cocktails throughout the night, including the “Hakuna Matata,” “Sahara Sunset,” “Jungle Juice,” and “Be Prepared.” Dare to try them all?

5) Sean Kenney’s Art Made with LEGO® Bricks

Our newest premium exhibition is Sean Kenney’s Art Made with LEGO® Bricks! See 1+ million LEGO pieces come together to create jaw-dropping sculptures of wild animals, all created by Brooklyn artist Sean Kenney.

The exhibition also includes a hands-on play zone where you can dream up and build your own wild creations using LEGO bricks. Be sure to share your creations with us using hashtag #MadeAtLSC!

Sean Kenney’s Art Made with LEGO® Bricks is available for an additional $6.

6) Painting with cockroaches

Picasso? Van Gogh? None of them can match the artistic talents of our Madagascar hissing cockroaches! Watch them get their legs painted with non-toxic paint, and then create a gorgeous work of art right in front of your eyes. We’re even giving away some paintings for guests to take home!

7) Disney trivia competition

Before the new Lion King movie comes out, test your Disney knowledge at our Disney trivia competition, led by our friends from Trivia A.D.!

Join the fun at 6:30 pm or 8:00 pm.

You can experience Apollo to the Moon when you make an additional $5 donation to support our programs for 91,000 students from at-risk communities. (Please make your donation in person at the event.)

Catch the show at 7:00 pm and 8:30 pm.

“Rocket Man” and “Space Oddity” are just a few of the space-themed songs you’ll hear in our Out of This World Laser Show! Rock out to new and classic hits set to high-tech lasers in the LSC Giant Dome Theater, all while celebrating 50 years since man first stepped on the Moon.

Like the Apollo to the Moon planetarium show, the laser show is available when you make an additional $5 donation to support our programs for 91,000 students from at-risk communities. (Please make your donation in person at the event.)

Catch the show at 7:45 pm and 9:15 pm.

13) Innovation Station

Every month at LSC After Dark, our Innovation Station brings you the latest in must-see tech! This month, we’re joined by the companies Scriptertainment and AeroFarms.
