We already know Alicia McPhoy is the best, now Facebook will know how amazing she is too!

Alicia started as a Volunteer Ambassador with Liberty Science in the summer of 2011. From the moment she started she was a shining star and always went out of her way to reach out to guests and make their experience one to remember. Alicia always has a smile on her face and makes friends with everyone she meets!

In 2013 she was hired as a Hospitality Associate in our Guest Engagement Department. Then, in 2014, Alicia was accepted as intern in the first Jersey City Internship program. During her internship, she volunteered in Liberty Science Center’s Human Resource’s department, donating 167 hours and gaining valuable experience. At the end of that summer, Alicia went off to Rutgers University where she is currently majoring in Human Resource Management.

This summer, we are proud to announce that Alicia has been accepted to Facebook’s Internship program. This is a highly competitive program and it’s clear Alicia’s dynamic personality won them over. Over 1,000 students applied, then the applicants were narrowed down to 600 and ultimately 60 applicants were chosen to be a part of this program. Alicia will be working in their Global Marketing Solutions department where we are sure she will not only learn valuable business skills but also charm everyone as she has been doing at LSC for the past five years.

We are so proud of Alicia and know she is going on to accomplish amazing milestones in her life. Good luck, Alicia!
