Congratulations to the International Science & Engineering Fair finalists from Hudson County!
Please join us in congratulating our International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF) finalists, including ISEF Award Winner, Meghana Addanki!
Supported by LSC, Jersey City Medical Center, and RWJBarnabas Health, these Hudson County students traveled to Los Angeles to compete and showcase their projects.
Our finalists competed against 1,800 young scientists and engineers representing over 70 countries across the world, and had the opportunity to meet and learn from internationally renowned STEM leaders.
Meghana Addanki, from Dr. Ronald E. McNair Academic High School in Jersey City, was 2024 ISEF Grand Award Winner for her project “Advancing Antibiotic Detection in Water.”
All four students – Addanki, Claudio Alberto Martinez, Sanjana Nanduru, and Prisha Malhotra – were finalists in the Hudson County STEM Showcase, held earlier this year at LSC.
On their trip to Los Angeles, the students were joined by representatives from the community, as well as three fellow participants from the STEM Showcase: Yara Aguilar, Andy Gonzalez, and Adriana Moreno.
