Fitness guru Jen Selter gets painted for LSC's Bodies Revealed exhibit

Last week, Liberty Science Center traveled to the Artist & Maker Market in Jersey City to promote our Bodies Revealed exhibit, which features hundreds of real human figures and organs respectfully preserved and displayed.

But instead of just telling people about our Bodies exhibit, we decided to show them: by bringing along Instagram fitness guru Jen Selter, who got painted by anatomical artist Danny Quirk in front of a crowd of spectators.

Danny spent four hours painting Jen’s back, and creating a medically accurate portrayal of what the inside of the human body really looks like. Danny was highly detailed, and painted everything from the latissimus dorsi and trapezius (superficial muscles) to the deltoid and infraspinatus (shoulder muscles)
