On March 22 and 23, 2019, we celebrated Makers Day at Liberty Science Center!
For this statewide celebration of all kinds of makers, we hosted maker groups from specialties that included LEGO robotics, coding, paper architecture, 3D printing, and more.
During this event, guests learned more about LSC’s very own MakerLab, which holds 3D printers, vacuformers, and other cutting-edge programming tools.
Visitors viewed LSC’s MakerLab, learned about the different equipment, and even received little trophies made from our 3D printers.
Additional activities included making light-up wearable crafts, building a simple machine, creating with 3D printer pens, controlling robots, and more.
Thanks to all guests who stopped by this year, as well as this year’s vendors: AndysTechGarage, Brick City Bricks 4 Kidz, DEFCON 201, Hands on Coding, Hudson Montessori School and Girls Who Code Club, Maker Depot, Poor Studio x Arts & Tilah, TechnoChic, and Zaniac Jersey City.
