‘Honey Bees: Home Is Where the Hive Is’ now open to the public
What’s the buzz around LSC? The honey bees have arrived!
Our new permanent exhibit introduces guests to the world of the honey bee and explains why bee conservation is one of the most important environmental topics of our time. The interactive exhibit features an observation hive that lets guests watch the bees while they work, and two outdoor hives that will help the wildlife around Liberty State Park thrive.
By August, the observation hive will bee home for over 7,000 bees and the two outdoor hives will house 70,000 bees each! That’s a whole lot of bees. Come check out ‘Honey Bees: Home Is Where the Hive Is’ soon!
