Kids will read to dogs at LSC's Young Learner Day
LSC's Young Learner Day is this Monday, April 8, and we're introducing a new activity that's sure to be a paws-itively amazing experience! On this day, kids will get the chance to read a story to certified therapy dogs.
Early readers can be shy about reading aloud, which is why we're inviting young learners to boost their confidence by reading to our cute, friendly, and nonjudgmental canine visitors from Creature Comfort Pet Therapy.
Some studies even show that kids who read aloud to dogs feel more motivated to read.
