LSC After Dark celebrates the holidays at annual Holiday Edition party
On Dec. 15, 2022, Liberty Science Center celebrated the holidays at LSC After Dark: Holiday Edition!
For our latest 21+ event, the building turned into a winter wonderland! Guests showed up dressed in ugly sweaters and festive looks, enjoyed seasonal bites and cocktails, and had fun at special activities throughout the Science Center.
Guests kicked off their shoes and took a spin on the Sock Skating Rink, made from a high-tech synthetic polymer surface. They learned how to make liquid nitrogen ice cream, and even tried a taste! People also got their hair and beards decorated, holiday-style.
Over in the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium, guests rocked out to the Taylor Swift Laser Show, brought back by popular demand!
Shoutout to everyone who donated to the Jersey City Mutual Aid Society (JCMAS)! This month, we partnered with the JCMAS to support local members of the community by connecting them with much needed – but sometimes difficult to access – personal items this winter season. Some of the donated items included hat and gloves, diapers, wipes, feminine hygiene products, deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste, and brushes.
