Liberty Science Center had a fun pop culture moment in Netflix’s limited series Too Much, the romantic comedy created by Lena Dunham that premiered in June 2025. The series follows a workaholic New Yorker navigating heartbreak, personal growth, and a fresh start after a difficult breakup.

One of our favorite moments comes during a scene where Dunham’s character hilariously corrects her ex-husband after he refers to Liberty Science Center as “Liberty Science Museum,” only to be thoroughly corrected by his ex-wife. It was a quick but memorable nod that caught the attention of LSC fans.

Moments like these highlight the unique place Liberty Science Center holds with guests across the region and show that even in the world of streaming television, people know there’s nothing quite like LSC.
