LSC’s Science Camp Community Scholarship provides free week of camp and more for Jersey City youth
Today begins the final week of LSC Science Camp, and it’s been a truly amazing summer, from Oceans Week to Sci-Fi Week to Exploration Week to Maker Week to Nature Week!
Did you know that we offered the Science Camp Community Scholarship this summer? This scholarship provides a free week of camp for youth in Jersey City. Each scholarship is valued at $1,130, and in addition to camp tuition, it provides a camper with a daily lunch, a camp T-shirt, camp water bottle, and all course materials.
This summer, we’ve awarded 18 scholarships to children entering 6th-8th grade in September.
