Meet the staff at this summer’s LSC Science Camp!
A member of LSC’S STEM Innovation team, Alejandro Melendez is teaching the courses “Shutter Science” and “Rule the Robots.” These are both camp programs that involve tinkering – something Alejandro loves to do!
“I like diving right into something and dissecting things in order to understand how they work,” Alejandro says. “Whether it’s dissecting specimens in my field of biology, or assembling and disassembling machinery, I just enjoy tinkering.”
This summer, Alejandro is most excited about the final project that campers will do in the “Rule the Robots” course.
“The campers are going to have to DANCE between their creativity and the coding skillsets they gain to code an original program for their robots!”
