Rather than babbling in gibberish, Avatar’s Na’vi characters speak in an actual language invented for the film by linguistics professor Dr. Paul Frommer. LSC visitors can brush up on their Na’vi phrases and learn how to say things like “thank you” and “you’re standing on my tail.”

“Nga yawne lu oer,” might be a particularly useful phrase today. It’s Na’vi for “I love you.”
